This Privacy Policy describes how msa.developement ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Smart QR Tool (the "App"), a QR code scanner and generator for Android.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

a) Camera & Images

The App requests access to your device's camera to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time. Images captured during scanning are processed entirely on-device and are not transmitted to external servers by us.

b) Photo Library

With your permission, the App may access your photo library to allow you to scan QR codes from saved images or to save generated QR codes. Images are used locally and not uploaded to our servers.

c) Network & Device Information

The App requires internet access to check network connectivity. No personal network data is collected or stored by us.

• To provide core app functionality: scanning and generating QR codes and barcodes.
• To allow sharing of scan results or generated codes via the system share sheet.
• To monitor and improve app stability and performance.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google ML Kit (Barcode Scanning) — Runs fully on-device; no data sent to Google.
• Firebase / Google Play Services — firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. All QR scan history and generated codes are stored locally on your device only. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

• Camera permission — You can revoke it anytime in your device Settings → Apps → Smart QR Tool → Permissions.
• Data deletion — Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data immediately.
• GDPR / CCPA — If you are located in the EU or California, you have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us at the address below.

Smart QR Tool is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the App. Since all scanning and data is processed on-device, your QR data never leaves your phone through our systems. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
